SUMMARY:Symposium: Value-Based Healthcare – die Zeit ist reif!
DESCRIPTION:This full-day symposium looks at how value-based healthcare (VBHC) – measuring patient outcomes against the resources used – can move from concept into routine care in Switzerland. It is aimed at clinicians\, medical and nursing leaders\, specialists in health economics and management\, as well as industry representatives\, start-ups and students. The programme covers outcome measurement including PROMs\, digital health and AI\, shared decision-making\, interprofessional collaboration\, value-based palliative care\, and Swiss DRGs compared with value-based reimbursement models. Workshops with practical case examples\, such as hip and knee replacement\, lead into a closing panel discussion. The scientific committee includes experts from Kantonsspital St.Gallen\, Mayo Clinic\, the University of St.Gallen and VBHC Switzerland. The day ends with the presentation of the Vadian VBHC Innovation Award.
